# Trader Alerts
> Get a message the moment a trader you follow buys, sells or posts a thesis. Nothing is bought for you.
Trader Alerts keep you in the loop on the traders you rate. Each buy, sell or thesis they post lands in your chat as it happens, with a button to trade it yourself. Nothing is bought for you.
Tap **🔔 Alerts** on the home screen, then **👥 Traders** — or send `/tracker`.
Two features sound similar. To have a trader's buys placed for you, use [Copytrade](/copytrade/overview). To hear when a coin reaches a market cap, set a [price alert](/alerts/price) — **📈 Price** in the same Alerts menu.
## Add a trader
Tap **➕ Add a Trader** and send one of these:

| A **screenshot** of their fomo profile | Dawn reads the handle off the picture |
For an EVM address, tap the chains to hear about, then **Continue →**.
Keep the suggested name, or type your own — up to **24 characters**.

Their page opens and alerts start straight away. Theses only come from traders who are on fomo or pump.fun — pick **📝 Theses** for someone on neither, and you get their trades instead.
Already looking at a trader? The cards from [Find a trader](/copytrade/find-trader), and the card you get for any wallet you paste into the chat, have a **🔔 Alerts** button that fills them in for you.
## What you'll get
### Trades

| 🔔 **New Buy by …** | What they spent and got, whether it is their **first buy** of the coin or they are **buying more**, and the coin's market cap, liquidity and price |

### Theses
A thesis is a trader's write-up of why they are in a coin.

Each one shows what they wrote, how their own position in the coin is doing, and the market cap now next to where it was when they posted. **✅ verified** marks a verified account, and **⚠️ deployed this coin** means they created the coin they are writing about.
**⚡ Trade** opens the coin's panel right in the alert.

## Your traders
The **🔔 Tracker** page lists everyone you follow, with 🟢 for live or 🔴 for paused and what you hear about. **Manage** opens a trader's page, and **Pause** or **Resume** switches them off or on.

One alert always stays on. To go quiet on a trader completely, **Pause** them.
## Trade filters
Filters narrow which **buys** you hear about. Sells and theses always come through.

| 🌱 **First Buys Only** | It is not their first buy of the coin — adds and re-entries are left out | Tap to switch on |

| 💎 **MC Max** | The coin is bigger than this | `5m` |
| 💧 **Liq Min** | The pool holds less than this | `20k` |
| 📊 **Vol 24h** | Less than this traded in the last day | `100k` |
| 👥 **Holders** | Fewer holders than this | `200` |
| 🐋 **Top 10** | The top ten wallets hold more than this share | `30` for 30% |
| ⏱ **Age Min** | The coin is younger than this | `30m`, `12h`, `30d`, `2w` |
Type a value, or `off` to clear it. **♻️ Reset Filters** clears them all. A coin with no data for a filter yet sends no alert.
## Limits
