# Managing A Task

> Pause, resize, retune and filter a copytrade task, and read what it has done.

Open a task from **Manage** on the [task list](/copytrade/overview#the-task-list).

| Line               | What it means                                               |
| ------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Invested**       | What the task's buys have cost                              |
| **Current Value**  | What the coins it bought, and you still hold, are worth now |
| **Unrealised PnL** | Profit or loss on those coins at today's price              |
| **Realised PnL**   | Profit or loss banked by selling coins the task bought      |
| **Trades**         | Buys and sells filled                                       |

Coins a task buys are ordinary positions. They show in your [portfolio](/trading/portfolio), and you can sell them or set a [TP/SL](/orders/tp-sl) on them yourself.

| **⏸ Pause** / **▶️ Resume** | Stop copying, or start again. Positions stay yours either way.                        |
| **💵 Edit Size**            | A new fixed amount, or a new percent and cap                                          |

| **⚙️ Settings**             | Mirror sells, slippage, MEV, gas, auto sell, chains, name — see [Settings](#settings) |
| **🔍 Filters**              | Which coins the task will buy — see [Filters](#filters)                               |
| **🔗 Share Task**           | Pass this trader to someone else — see [Sharing a task](#sharing-a-task)              |
| **🕘 Activity**             | What the task has done — see [Activity](#activity)                                    |
| **🗑 Delete Copytrade**     | Remove the task, after a confirm. Anything it bought stays yours.                     |

## Settings

Each task has its own trading settings. **Default** means it uses the [profile's](/settings/overview) setting; change it here and only this task changes.

| Setting               | What it does                                                                                                |
| --------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| 🔁 **Mirror Sells**   | On: when the leader sells, you sell the same share. Off: their sells are ignored.                           |
| 📈 **Auto Sell**      | A stop loss and take profit applied to every buy the task makes, as a percent or a multiple — `-30%`, `2x`. |
| 🎯 **Slippage**       | The task's own limit. **15%** unless you changed it.                                                        |
| 🛡 **MEV Protection** | See [Execution](/trading/execution#mev-protection).                                                         |
| ⛽️ **Gas**            | Low, Medium or High, with **📡 Live Fees** beside it — see [Execution](/trading/execution#gas-preset).      |

## Filters

Filters decide which coins the task will buy. A buy into a coin that fails a filter, or has no data for it yet, is skipped. Sells are never filtered.

| 💎 **Market Cap Min**     | The coin is smaller than this                 | `50k`, `$1.5m`      |
| 💎 **Market Cap Max**     | The coin is bigger than this                  | `5m`                |
| 💧 **Liquidity Min**      | The pool holds less than this                 | `20k`               |
| 📊 **Volume 24h Min**     | Less than this traded in the last day         | `100k`              |
| 👥 **Holders Min**        | Fewer holders than this                       | `200`               |
| 🐋 **Top 10 Holders Max** | The top ten wallets hold more than this share | `30` for 30%        |
| ⏱ **Token Age Min**       | The coin is younger than this, in minutes     | `10` for 10 minutes |

Tap a filter and type a value, or `off` to clear it. **♻️ Reset Filters** clears them all.

<Tip>
  **Token Age Min** and **Liquidity Min** keep a task out of brand-new and thin coins without stopping it copying real moves.

## Chains

A task on a fomo trader copies them on every chain they trade. **🌐 Chains** in the task's settings shows each one as a tick: untick a chain to stop copying there, tick it to start again. A task keeps at least one chain.

A task made from an address is fixed to the chains you picked when you created it.

## Wallet

A task buys from the wallet it was made on. **💳 Change Wallet** moves it to another of your wallets, in any profile. Coins already bought stay in the wallet that bought them.

## Activity

**🕘 Activity** lists everything the task has done, newest first. The same button on the task list shows every task together.

| Entry                                 | What it means                                                   |
| ------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| 🟢 **Bought** / **Sold**              | A copy that went through, with the amount                       |
| 🔴 **Buy Failed** / **Sell Failed**   | A copy that did not go through, with the reason                 |
| ⏭ **Buy Skipped** / **Sell Skipped**  | Not placed: a filter, a size under \$1, or nothing held to sell |
| 🚫 **Buy Refused** / **Sell Refused** | Not placed: not enough balance, or no route                     |

## Sharing a task

**🔗 Share Task** opens Telegram's share sheet with a link to this trader. Whoever taps it lands in their own Dawn at setup with the trader already filled in.
