# Referrals

> Earn from the people you invite, and from the people they invite, three levels deep.

Invite someone to Dawn and you earn a share of the trading fees they pay — and a smaller share from the people **they** invite, and from the level below that.

Open **Rewards → Referrals** for your link, your network and your earnings.

## The three levels

| Level       | Who they are                |             Your share |
| ----------- | --------------------------- | ---------------------: |
| **Level 1** | People you invited yourself | **25% – 50%**, by tier |
| **Level 2** | People *they* invited       |                 **3%** |
| **Level 3** | One level deeper again      |                 **2%** |

Level 1 is the one that grows with your tier. Levels 2 and 3 are flat, and they are where a network starts paying for itself — they need nothing from you at all.

## Tiers

Your referral tier is set by the **30-day trading volume of the people you invited directly**. Your own trading does not affect it.

| **Diamond**  |                 \$90M+ |     50% |      3% |      2% |

Like [cashback](/rewards/cashback), the window rolls continuously and the tier moves with it.

## What the share is taken from

Your share is of the fee **left after the trader's own cashback**, not of the whole fee.

That ordering matters, and it is the fair way round: the person doing the trading is paid first, and referral earnings come out of what remains.

## Sharing your link

Your referral link is on the Rewards screen. Tap it to copy.

Anyone who starts Dawn through it is attributed to you permanently.

There are two better-converting ways to share than a bare link:

## Getting paid

Referral earnings join your cashback in one claimable balance. Claim from the Rewards screen — minimum **\$5**, once an hour, paid as USDC onto your balance.

  Referral earnings are credited as the people in your network trade. Someone who signs up and never trades earns you nothing; the count on your Rewards screen shows who joined, not who is active.
