# Trending And Search

> Browse the top coins right now, narrow them to a chain, and order them by what you care about.

When you already know the coin, paste its contract address. When you don't, the screener is where you look.

## Opening it

Each result is a link. Tap the ticker and the coin's [token panel](/trading/token-panel) opens with buy buttons ready.

## Reading a result

| Line           | What it means                                                   |
| -------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **MC**         | Market cap.                                                     |
| **Liq**        | How much money is in the coin's pool.                           |
| **Vol**        | Traded in the last 24 hours, and separately in the last **1h**. |
| Price moves    | Change over the windows the source has.                         |
| **Holders**    | How many addresses hold it.                                     |
| **Age**        | How long ago the coin was created.                              |
| **✅ Dex paid** | The team bought this coin's DexScreener profile.                |

Dawn asks the source for 30 coins and shows the best **8** after your filters.

  **Dex paid** means somebody paid for a listing profile. It is a sign of spend, not of safety — a scam with a budget can buy one too. Read [what the panel cannot tell you](/trading/token-panel#what-the-panel-cannot-tell-you) before you buy anything you found here.

## Narrowing the list

### Chains

The top row is **All** plus every chain Dawn trades. Picking one is not a filter over what you already have — Dawn asks that chain for **its own** best coins, so a quiet chain still fills a screen.

### Order

| **Vol 1h**    | Traded value over the last hour — what is moving *now* |
| **Trending**  | The source's own momentum ranking                      |
| **MCap**      | Market cap                                             |
| **Liquidity** | Pool depth                                             |
| **Holders**   | Number of holders                                      |

The screener opens on **Trending**. A typed search opens on **Vol 24h**.

<Note>
  **Vol 24h** and **Trending** are the source's own rankings, so they change which coins come back. The other four reorder the coins already on the list rather than asking for a fresh set — a deeper pool or an older coin further down the rankings will not be pulled up into view.

### Toggles

| Toggle           | What it does                                                       |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| 🎓 **Graduated** | Only coins that have left their launchpad curve for a normal pool. |
| ✅ **Dex paid**   | Only coins whose DexScreener profile was bought.                   |

Tap a lit toggle to switch it off. If a combination empties the list the buttons stay put, so you can always undo it.

## What Dawn remembers

The **chain** and the **sort** you last used are saved to your [profile](/wallets/profiles), so the screen opens the way you left it. Toggles are not saved — they start off each time.

Results are cached for a minute, so tapping through filters is instant and everyone asking the same question costs the source one call.

## If nothing comes back

* **Searching a ticker?** Put a `$` in front — `$PEPE`.
* **Know the coin?** Paste the contract address instead. Ticker search is a guess; an address is exact.
* **Filters on?** Turn off Graduated or Dex paid, or go back to **All** chains.

Coins on chains Dawn cannot trade are left out of every list, so a coin you have seen elsewhere may simply not be on [one of the six](/chains).
