Set it up
1
Add the bot
From the Rewards or Share screen, use the add to group link. Telegram asks which group, and adds Dawn as an admin so it can read the messages people post.
2
Confirm the owner
Whoever adds the bot becomes the group’s owner in Dawn, and their referral code is the one attached to its cards. If the bot is already there and you want to take it over as an admin, run
/setup in the group.A forwarded invite link cannot hand your group to somebody else.
3
Post an address
Dawn replies with the coin’s card: name, chain, contract, market data and stats, with buy buttons underneath.
Admin commands
Run these in the group.
The default buttons are $5 · $10 · $25 · $50.
Pick amounts that suit the room. Buttons that are too big for your members do not get tapped.
What members get
Whoever taps a button buys from their own Dawn wallet, in their own private chat with Dawn. The trade never happens in the group, and the group never sees anyone’s balance. The buy amounts you set on the card are a suggestion, not a power. Each member’s own cap always wins.
Being a good host
- Keep the card useful.
/compact onis worth it in a busy chat where full cards flood the feed. - Every card carries your referral code. Members should know that — say so in the group description.
- Dawn posts what it is asked to. It does not check whether a coin is worth buying, and a card is not an endorsement by you or by Dawn.
