Send /deposit, or tap Deposit on the home screen. Dawn asks three things in order — which wallet should receive it, which chain you are sending from, and which token you are sending — then gives you an address.
1

Pick the receiving wallet

Only shown when you have more than one. Whatever you pick is where the balance lands, so check it before copying anything.
2

Pick the chain and token

The list shows what is currently accepted on each chain. Nothing else on that chain will be credited.
3

Send to the address

Copy the address and send from your own wallet or exchange, using the same token on the same network. The panel names the minimum and roughly how long the route takes.
4

Wait for the card

Deposit received lands in your chat when it is credited. Check that Balance on the home screen has gone up.
Send only the token and the chain the panel names. Anything else cannot be recovered. Each chain has its own address — always copy a fresh one from the panel rather than reusing an address from another chain.

Which chains you can send from

You can deposit from more chains than Dawn trades on. Trading happens on Solana, BNB Chain, Robinhood Chain, Base and Arc; money can arrive from those and from Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism and Polygon. The live list is whatever the deposit panel shows. A route can be unavailable temporarily, so check the panel rather than this page before sending.

The free route

USDC on Solana goes straight onto your balance. No swap, no bridge, no fee, and it is credited as soon as it confirms. Everything else is swapped and bridged for you on the way in. That work has a cost, and it comes out of the amount that lands — the panel estimates it before you send. If you are sending from an exchange and have the choice, USDC on Solana is the cheapest way in.

Minimums

Every route has a minimum, shown on its panel. Check it before you send.

Deposits that land in your wallet instead

Two things arrive in your wallet rather than on your balance:
  • SOL sent to your Solana address.
  • Any coin someone transfers to you, or that you send in yourself outside a deposit route.
These are yours, but they are not spendable USDC until you move them across. That is one tap — see Move coins to your balance.

Buying with a card

Dawn does not sell USDC directly. Buy it on an exchange or an on-ramp you already use, then withdraw it to your Dawn deposit address, choosing USDC and Solana as the network.
